21st century sermon on the mount: "blessed be the n00b programmers, for they shall..." - sorry, just can't do it :-p
"blessed be the n00b programmers, for they shall..." - Cost us less, put in extra green time b/c they have no life...
the up front cost may be less, but they are always more expensive in the long run.
  • 2009.07.08 13:26: @craigg75 @klaatu : btw, google apps != google app engine, although you can run the engine under an apps domain name & use apps user auth

never send a bean counter to fight a war is the lesson learned there

RM tried to view troops, bombs, tanks, enemy targets, morale, etc as a big math problem, not that simple
yes & no: logistics are key. the failure wasn't really military, or leadership, or moral: it was public political will that failed

RM tried to view troops, bombs, tanks, enemy targets, morale, etc as a big math problem, not that simple
besides, who ever heard of a "moral" war anyway ?
  • 2009.07.08 15:33: @craigg75
RM tried to view troops, bombs, tanks, enemy targets, morale, etc as a big math problem, not that simple
in some sense, the battles of that era may very well have been "successful", perhaps more so than all modern wars

RM tried to view troops, bombs, tanks, enemy targets, morale, etc as a big math problem, not that simple
... but the boomers will need to have died off first, before an objective assessment can be made. hypocrites in faux hair shirts
  • 2009.07.08 15:42: @craigg75

notice nobody mentions the child abuse charges against MJ, instead it's he was the greatest musician to walk the earth?
i doubt anyone gave two shits about the "man"; they're all in it for the pr - career killer for an entertainer to miss the circus

  • 2009.07.08 21:48: see, now, what was i just saying; glitch in gae just caused minor hiccup in my app. i'll take that as a metaphysical shot across my bow.
  • 2009.07.08 21:50: [some confusing thoughts about just what was metaphysical: shot? bow? both?]
  • 2009.07.09 01:29: asked ie6 to open up several 10mb+ files simultaneously. it choked.
  • 2009.07.09 01:55: @craigg75
ie6? why do you have that gremlin on your system?
because the system itself is some ancient evil - win2k
