Future Shock and the Third Wave - Alvin Toffler. Read them too. Good books and he did forsee where all of the infant technology markets were going.
for some reason when those two books came out, i avoided them. too reality based, perhaps. now, shockwave rider was fiction. but even then, i wasn't paying too much attention. must have been hormones and/or partying.
but that's the book that planted the idea in my head so long ago about having personal worms / agents to ferret out & manipulate information about oneself online. could never remember where i had got that, until now.
