me: just remember this, ok ?
self: um, sure, what ... ?
me: "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" applies to the forces of darkness as well.
self: oooh, so we're being profound now, are we ?
me: not really. it just recently occurred to me that if you don't stamp out 'stupid' right from the outset, 'stupid' only gets more clever. irrationality bulds an immunity to logic. people become resistant to reason. and so on.
self (jumping around): gotcha !
me: *sigh* ... i don't even want to know ...
