from my reading list:

cool book. not world shaking, but an enjoyable one day read, no slow parts at all. especially nice to sit outside and enjoy one of the last warm breezy days of the year. it's got a pretty good bibliography at the end. i guess the thing about crichton's writing is that he always seems to be writing for a potential movie deal, and that seems to limit how far he is willing to take certain ideas.
