no, i'm not about to create an actual survey form, results display and analysis, etc. if i wanted to do a "live" questionnaire, there are lots of sites out there with all the machinery in place allowing people to create their own.

sunday was a beautiful day for it, started out below 40F, got up to around 60F (at most), sunny, and very good colors, despite the leaf knockdown due to rain and wind last week.  winds were at a steady 10-12kts, i kept thinking “sail!”, but my boat's not legal yet :-(   yeah, i had the top down and doors off ;-)

we tried the fern hill and lake area trails, nice views from both.  attempted to find the tailwater area trailhead, a complete bust.

some follow-up on trail discussion:

• pvr building:  here's a link with links to links ;-)  My PVR is complete (at craig's site)   i know you can get a better deal on the wireless-g stuff now (for the $80 you can get router, pcmcia and pci - maybe even usb ?), so i'm thinking i would check on alternatives for other components he lists as well.
• hard to find release schedules, there may be no such thing.  here are some stream and lake level links.  some surfing around may locate flow data, that sort of thing:

• there's a not-so-favorable comment about the perimeter trail on this web page (scroll down): East Fork State Park on widernet.com.  that's exactly the section we were contemplating doing.  jon and i can verify that the perimeter trail is only fit for horses, which we discovered while trying to find the tailwater area trailhead.
