Winnie Cooper

Remember Winnie Cooper from the tv show the Wonder Years? She was Kevin's heartbreaker in the show. I liked the show, good storylines about growing up. I was over catching up on Wil Wheaton's blog and he commented he stays in touch with her and that she's in some lingerie magazine spread. What!? Unfortunately the jpgs are gone from the web site . I checked her web site out and dang she grew into a little hottie and picked up a Math degree from UCLA to boot. Brains and beauty... go figure. Hey anyone out there have those jpgs of her mirrored somewhere, my perverted self would be eternally grateful.

your taste in women continues to amaze me. for my part, every time i see this woman i can't help wondering what birth defect she had.

"wonder years" [suppressed smirk] ;-) it was your age then. i challenge you complete a viewing now without using a handy emesis basin.

"wil wheaton" [same suppressed smirk]

ah, these are the things that make craig craig. wouldn't have it any other way, dude ;-)

Usually a commonality are brunettes with straight long hair, hence the Indian attraction too. The darker the hair the better.

Pick up your $5 check for using "emesis" :) Hey I still watch that show today dude, it's good stuff!! Don't be dissin it now. I watched it while I was in my 20's. I catch a rerun once in awhile.

As for Wil, you need to gather more data, he's cool. I loved the dialog he had with the Star Wars nerds that are standing in line waiting for the next Star Wars movie. Thing is they've been told they are at a theater that won't be showing Star Wars. So they are protesting and will not move now. Hilarious. Humans...

nothing against wheaton himself, since as you say, i don't know. but it's the _idea_ of wil wheaton that is funny, and that will never go away.

$5 for 'emesis' ? nah, that's a nickel word. here's your $4.95.

so it's to be star wars vs. hhgg, eh ? saw the trailer during a sw double feature yesterday on tv. just bring on the special effects.

gotta say, though, the dissonance between the old and new sw series is huge. what a mess. and will lucas eventualy make good on his original vision ['trilogy of trilogies' http://stuffo.howstuffworks.com/short3-.htm ] ? only time will tell.

sorry, that really veered off-thread. that must've been a cool scene outside the theater. wheaton ? you know me, i dig in my heels at the slightest hint of 'cult of personality', regardless of other merit.

Wil Wheaton made up these tshirts that said "I stood in the wrong line for Star Wars for months and all I got was this lousy tshirt". The guys in line, or as Wil says "Star Wars Ubergeeks", got all pissed off, said they won't defend him anymore. Wil said no one should defend somebody who had hate newsgroups named after him. Totally funny.

Definite cult of personalities all over. You'd love it in LA, Chris, they live and breathe it out there.

just out of curiosity i attempted that search. accomplished nothing other than loading up my browser history & cache with the type of crud you might expect while looking around for that sort of thing. thanks for the bounce of the skin of the gritty underbelly of the net ;-)

From her bio

Babylon 5 UPN
yes she wore a skullcap and played a Centari noblewoman in one ep. I think she was engaged to Vir Koto (Animal House's Flounder) which explains her new movie role:

Stratosphere (Spring 2005) Dir. Stephen Furst
Stephen Furst is Flounder / Vir (minus a lot of weight now).

The West Wing (Recurring) NBC
Yep, noticed her there on my bittorrent'd copies.

Navy: NCIS (airs Feb. 15 2005) CBS
This was an excellent episode. She played a govt. worker who noticed a murder from her apt. window. A very smart character whom one of the investigator guys was falling in love with so naturally the killer killed her in her own apartment before the hour was up.

Wonder Years - lotsa forhead and a goofy yet girl next door atainable look to her. At least she's better now and not like Fred Savage who looks like a short clone of Jay Leno. BTW: The guy who played Fred's older brother who always picked on him is now married, father and produces christian tv shows, go figgure. I think he's got some bogus superhero dude called "BibleMan" that goes around telling little kids its bad to eat meat on friday during lent.....etc...etc...etc....

And poor Wil Wheaton can't even get a simple gig playing an extra. He's looks too normal to be on TV, I think that's his whole problem.

Yeah whatever happened to Fred Savage. There's your classic typecast actor. I had heard about the brother going off the deep end too.
