Last weekend I visited my friend Brent in Terre Haute Indiana. Had a really good time, got caught up on his auctioning business. One of the things we did was stop off in Poland Indiana which is just up the road to visit this man who is building a 57 foot sailboat in his tennis court (what's left of it anyway) to sail around the world with his wife. Agent Ransack - Download

Windows 7 search replacement. I'm not sure how or why MS not only hid the Windows search function but pretty much ruined it if you choose not to index your drive. Talk about going two steps backward. Anyways this is a far superior search tool and it's free.

Seems like I've been searching for the perfect music app for the iPhone since I've owned it, over a year. I've tried Orb, Zumocast, Subsonic and a few others. All of them fail at one thing or another. Orb has playlists but has choppy playback at times. Zumocast has no playlists (big wtf there) and playback is smooth. Subsonic is a piece of crap, amazing that people put up with that garbage. What a waste of time that was. They all use your computer at home to serve up your mp3 collection...(read more)

So I thought I'd do a couple of iPhone app reviews of apps that I find amazing. I recently got my TomTom unit stolen from my car so I did some searching for a replacement GPS app, preferably on my iPhone. One of the considerations is there are apps where you downloads the whole map ahead of time and don't rely on the internet to update your map as you drive. Didn't realize you could do this with Windows server. More of a "oh yeah, duh" moment. Probably not the most secure way of doing it but for internal LAN subnets, this should work well.
